This is a very special evening event at the wonderful SOJO Bistro in Acomb, York. Come and enjoy a relaxing terrarium workshop hosted by Alice from York’s plant studio – The Outside In. It’s a fabulous opportunity for you to learn something new, have a drink, get creative, and socialise with friends/loved ones/new people in this great venue.
Alice will introduce you to the history of terrariums and then guide you through the process of making your own, using a beautiful glass vessel with a cork stopper, tropical plants, mosses and decorative stones. Lose yourself in the creating and landscaping of your own miniature garden world!
All materials and tools will be provided, and you’ll be able to take your completed terrarium home with you at the end of the session, along with an aftercare guide on how to keep it in tip top shape, plus a strong bag to transport it in. Your ticket also includes a free drink on the night, and everyone attending will also receive a 10% discount card for use at The Outside In.
SOJO Bistro can be found at 50A York Road, Acomb, York YO24 4LZ. There are various parking options near by, plenty of cycle racks in the vicinity, and it’s on the number 1/1A bus route.
